Nothing is Immpossible

Since i was child, I had a dream to go abroad for study or just vacation. I really wanted to study abroad because I think the education system there is better than in Indonesia and ofcourse I really wanted to get new experiences because I know that it would be so different living in Indonesia with in abroad.
My Chilhood was as same as the ordinary children. Playing around, singing, dancing, laughing, and chilling around. My life little bit changed when my dad was die when I was in the 4th grade of Elementary School. So young I guess when I should realize that I do not have a father like other children. I was 10th years old that time. My dad did not have any illness’s history. Then suddenly died. That event made my family shock especially me. I was so close with my dad. We used to talk, share, or just tell the activities that we did in a day.
When I realize that my dad was die, I realize that it would be so difficult to reach my dream to go abroad, because there was no my dad who afford for my family’s life.
When my dad still alive, he always said “When you have a dream, awake..! don’t sleep again, take a shower and reach it..!” .That sentence always stuck in my head.
I was still keeping my dream until High School. I still had really strong desire to go abroad, then my friend told me that there was an announcemet about being an Exchange Student abroad. I was so excited and then run to the annoucement board in my school. I read that announcement carefully. “This is my opportunity to go abroad !” That was in my mind.
And then i filled the application of that program. Namely AFS and I choosed YES program (an exchange student’s program which has a purpose to make a bridge between America and Moslem countries). I took the tests for that program for about a year.
Then I got information that I passed the test and I would go to USA..!!! “Oh my God, my dream came true..!” I said.
One of my strengness is I will do anything if i want to get something. I always try to do the best in every single activities that I do.
Shortly, I came to USA ( Hillsboro, Oregon) and met with a bunch of new people, new family, friends, and new environmet. My Exchange Year was so awesome. From that exchange year, I learnt a lot of things. That exchange program really opened my eyes. I am studying in Islamic Boarding School, so me and lots of Moslem has stereotype that other religion hate Islam. But that is not true. I found that they (other religion) really respect with my religion. I got a lot of experiences there. I learnt their cultures. How they respect each other, how they have really strong intention in studying, how they respect people’s privacy, how the American’s family life etc. I learnt how to think of the box, how to survive in other country, I learnt how to life far away from my family that I really need  And they also learnt my cultures.
From that story, we can learn that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS WORLD. If we have a dream, try to get it as best as you can.
